What is the median price of a storage VPS per TB?
At the plan level, the median storage VPS cost $4.00 per TB a month on 2 November 2026; counted once per seller, it cost $11.57. Both are true, and the gap is worth knowing before you quote either. InterServer alone sells 32 one-price slices at $3.00 per TB, so every plan count leans towards its rate. Take InterServer out and the plan median jumps to $10.00.

Which storage VPS sellers have nothing in stock?
According to Coffervale's survey of 2 November 2026, 4 of the 18 storage VPS sellers that take crypto and ask no ID had no storage plan a new customer could order: BuyVM, Senko Digital, AlphaVPS, VPSDime. Another, MivoCloud, showed Frankfurt on its storage page while its order form offered Oregon only, and Privex had sold out of its largest plan.
Only 10 of the 18 had a storage plan in Europe that could be ordered and paid monthly that day. A price per terabyte means little when the order button is greyed out, which is why the stock column sits next to the price.
Which storage VPS sellers accept Monero, and which ask for ID?
Six sellers named Monero on their own pages: BuyVM, VSYS Host, Privex, Hostbrr, VPSLab, PrivateAlps. The others list Bitcoin, stablecoins or a payment processor without naming Monero, and HostHatch and InterServer name a processor but no coin at all. Coffervale does not accept Monero today; it takes BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC, as the table shows.
On ID, 8 sellers document no trigger for an ID check and 10 may ask for one in set cases: a fraud review, an order placed over a VPN, a refund. Signing up without an ID document is not the same as signing up with nothing: 16 of the 18 require an email address. How do storage boxes and backup services compare with a storage VPS?
The best storage VPS plans in the index cost about the same per terabyte as a Hetzner Storage Box and less than BorgBase or rsync.net, and they add root access and crypto payment. A Storage Box costs $3.58 per TB at 1 TB and $2.27 at 20 TB, against $2.22 to $4.00 for the cheaper half of storage VPS plans. BorgBase and rsync.net charge $9.17 and $15.00 per TB, for a service that runs the repository for you.

Where does Coffervale sit in this storage VPS index?
Coffervale is listed apart because it publishes the index, and its prices come from the same reading. Clay, the 1 TB plan, costs $1.66 per TB a month on the 12-month term and $2.37 month to month; the five plans run from 500 GB to 8 TB. Each 12-month price is set at least 25% under a named plan of this index, by a rule written out on how much does a storage VPS cost per month?
We do not claim to be the cheapest at every size: paid month to month, Clay's $2.37 sits above the $2.22 of the DeluxHost plan it is priced against. The same disclosure applies as for any seller here. The data sits on hard disks, and Clay carries a monthly traffic quota of 4 TB a month. We take no backup of your server and keep no copy of your data anywhere else, so what sits on a Coffervale storage VPS should be one of your copies, never the only one. A person on the team creates your server once the payment is confirmed, so it is not instant; the dashboard tracks it until the IP address shows up.
How is the index built, and when is it refreshed?
Every price was read on the host's own page or order cart on 2 November 2026, with no account, no order and no payment. Forum and deal posts served only to find sellers; no figure comes from them or from a web archive.
- Monthly price = cycle price ÷ months in the cycle, plus any setup fee ÷ 12.
- Per TB = monthly price ÷ terabytes sold; a plan sold as 1,024 GB counts as 1.024 TB. RAID overhead is the host's and is not deducted.
- VAT is shown as each host publishes it.
- Stock = what the page or cart said: "out of stock", "sold out", "0 available" or suspended orders.

Why does the index give two medians, $4.00 and $11.57?
The first counts every plan, and the 32 identical $3.00 slices of InterServer pull it down. The second counts each seller's best in-stock plan once. Use the plan median for a typical listing and the seller median for a typical host.
