How does paying for a storage VPS with crypto work?
You never pay a server directly: crypto goes to your balance, and the server is bought from the balance. That keeps renewals simple and lets one top-up cover several months.
Add $25 or more to your balance
Pick an amount and a coin (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC); the crypto amount is fixed at its rate for 30 minutes.
Pay the address on screen, on that exact network
The payment page gives our deposit address for the coin and network you chose: BTC on Bitcoin, USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20), USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20), ETH on Ethereum, SOL on Solana, LTC on Litecoin. Use only that coin on that network, since funds sent on another network or in another coin are lost. Your wallet adds the network fee on top.

Every top-up carries its own exact amount, to the last decimal: that amount is how your payment is found and tied to your account.
Credited after we check it on the blockchain
The balance is credited once the network has confirmed the transaction and we have checked it on the blockchain. Usual network confirmation times:

Pick a plan, a rental length, a city, a system and your SSH key (or none, for a temporary root password), and the top-up is set to the price of that term. Once the payment is confirmed, a person creates your storage VPS and its IP address appears in your dashboard. Credit on your balance does not expire and renews any of your VPS. When a top-up is only made to reach the minimum, the unspent part comes back on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC. The rest of a balance is not paid out unless the law requires it.

Can I pay for a storage VPS with Monero?
Not at Coffervale today. Our checkout takes BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC, and Monero is not among them. We would rather say so on this page than let you find out at the payment step.
If Monero is a must: according to Coffervale's survey of 2 November 2026, 6 of the 18 storage VPS sellers that take crypto without an ID document name it on their own pages: BuyVM, VSYS Host, Privex, Hostbrr, VPSLab, PrivateAlps. A coin on a host's page does not tell you whether its storage plans are in stock, nor whether the host asks for ID in some cases, so check both before you send anything. Which crypto do other storage VPS hosts accept?
Most storage VPS sellers that take crypto do it through a payment processor, and few list Monero. Your IP address and root login in the dashboard
The dashboard shows the server’s IP address. Root signs in with your SSH key or, if you gave none, with a temporary root password shown there.

Does paying with crypto keep my storage private?
It keeps your bank and your card out of it, but a blockchain is public. Anyone can see the amount, the time and the addresses of a Bitcoin, Ether or USDT transaction. When you paste the transaction ID of a top-up, we can link that payment to your account number, as any merchant can. What we do not get is a card number, a bank name or an identity document.
Three habits help:
- pay from a wallet you use for this kind of purchase, not from an exchange account in your name;
- skip the optional email, or use an address that says nothing about you; The account number is the only key to your account: with an email on file it can be sent back to you, without one a lost number cannot be recovered by anyone;
- encrypt your data before it leaves your machine, so what the server holds is unreadable without your key.

Questions about paying for storage with crypto
What is the minimum top-up?
$25. When a plan costs less than that, the difference stays on your balance for renewals. Credit on your balance does not expire and renews any of your VPS. When a top-up is only made to reach the minimum, the unspent part comes back on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC. The rest of a balance is not paid out unless the law requires it.
Which USDT network costs less to use?
Tron (TRC-20) usually costs less in network fees and confirms faster than Ethereum (ERC-20); both work. Use the network the payment page names, exactly.
Is the server created automatically after payment?
No. A person on the team creates your server once the payment is confirmed, so it is not instant; the dashboard tracks it until the IP address shows up.
Can I pay for 12 months with one top-up?

Will you add Monero?
Not today, and we make no promise of a date. If you pay only in XMR, the survey list above shows which storage hosts name it.
