Quick answer
How much does a storage VPS cost per month at Coffervale?
At Coffervale, a storage VPS costs $1.24 a month for 500 GB and $1.66 for 1 TB on the 12-month term, up to $16.75 for 8 TB. Paid one month at a time, they run from $1.77 to $23.93. Each 12-month price sits at least 25% under a named comparable storage VPS from a no-KYC crypto host, read on 2 November 2026.
Which plan fits your data?
Pick the rental length first: the cards show what a month costs on it and the total you pay up front. Every plan runs in Amsterdam, Bucharest and Chișinău at the same price.
Choose a capacity, a rental length and a city; the checkout opens with all three filled in and shows the total again before you pay.
How is each price set?
Each plan is priced from a dated survey, not from a margin target. According to Coffervale's survey of 2 November 2026, which read the public prices of 70 hosting providers, only 10 of the 18 storage VPS sellers that take crypto without an ID document had a plan in Europe that could be ordered and paid by the month; all of them are in what is the least expensive storage VPS per TB right now?. For every capacity we name one of their plans as the reference: a storage VPS with at least as much disk, and of those the one with the smallest monthly price. Our 12-month price sits at least 25% under it, and the month-to-month price is the one that the 30% yearly discount brings back to it. We do not claim to be the cheapest at every size or term: month to month, every plan costs more than its reference, $2.37 for Clay against $2.22.
The full rule, with the hosts that met it and the ones that did not, reads: On the 12-month term, each plan is priced at least 25% a month under a named reference plan (prices read on 2 November 2026): Silt against DeluxHost's “STORAGE-1” at $1.66 a month; Clay against DeluxHost's “STORAGE-2” at $2.22 a month; Shale against DeluxHost's “STORAGE-3” at $4.46 a month; Granite against DeluxHost's “STORAGE-5” at $10.04 a month; Bedrock against Hostbrr's “Hybrid 8TB” at $22.34 a month. To count as comparable, a plan has to be a storage VPS with at least as much disk, run in Europe, shown in stock and billed one month at a time, at a host that accepts crypto and requires no ID document at signup. At least one such plan was on sale at 10 hosts (VSYS Host, HostSailor, Privex, HostHatch, Hostbrr, NolimitHost, LiteServer, Cherry Servers, DeluxHost, PrivateAlps), and for each capacity the reference is the comparable plan with the smallest monthly price among them. Also not compared: BuyVM (every storage plan shown out of stock); MivoCloud (storage plans orderable only outside Europe); Senko Digital (every storage plan shown out of stock); VPSLab (no location stated for its storage plans); AlphaVPS (every storage plan shown out of stock); InterServer (storage plans orderable only outside Europe); RamNode (no location stated for its storage plans); VPSDime (every storage plan shown out of stock). Euro prices are converted at 1 EUR = 1.1172 USD (ECB, 30 October 2026); Hostbrr prices exclude VAT.

What does a longer rental length save?
Thirty percent on the 12-month term, ten percent on 3 months and twenty on 6. Rent for 1 month, 3 months (10% off), 6 months (20% off) or 12 months (30% off): a longer term costs the monthly price times its months, less its discount, rounded down to the cent (Clay: $6.39 for 3 months, $11.37 for 6 months, $19.90 for 12 months). Each renewal repeats the same term at the price of your order unless you pick another term for the next renewal in your dashboard.
For the 1 TB Clay plan that means $2.37 for one month, $2.13 a month on 3 months, $1.89 on 6 months and $1.66 on 12 months. A server you keep for backups usually runs for years, so the yearly term is the one most of our prices are quoted on. No setup fee: an order and each renewal cost exactly the price of the chosen term.
What do you get on every plan?
The plans differ in disk, vCPU and RAM; everything else is the same.
Storage: Every plan stores your data on hard disks (HDD) chosen for capacity, not speed: they suit backups, archives and file sync, not databases or heavy random reads and writes. We publish no speed or IOPS figure we cannot back.
Network: Each server has one IPv4 address and an IPv6 /64 on a 1 Gbit/s port, with a monthly traffic quota of 2 TB plus 2 TB per TB stored: 3 TB for Silt, 4 TB for Clay, 6 TB for Shale, 10 TB for Granite, 18 TB for Bedrock. Past the quota the port runs at 100 Mbit/s until the next period begins; nothing extra is billed.
Access: Root logs in over SSH. Paste a public key at checkout and password login stays off; leave the field empty and the team sets a temporary root password, shown in your dashboard, that you replace at your first login.
Encryption: KVM gives your server its own kernel, so you can put LUKS on the data disk or run ZFS with native encryption, and the keys never leave you. For backups, encrypt on your own machine before upload (Borg, restic and Kopia all do it), so the server only ever holds ciphertext.
Systems: Debian 13, Debian 12, Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, AlmaLinux 10, Rocky Linux 10. Linux only: Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux or Rocky Linux. Windows is not offered.
Cities: Amsterdam (Netherlands), Bucharest (Romania) and Chișinău (Moldova): every plan in every city, at the same price.
A low price per terabyte comes from plain hardware and a short list of services. Before you order, know what you are not buying:
Backups: We take no backup of your server and keep no copy of your data anywhere else, so what sits on a Coffervale storage VPS should be one of your copies, never the only one. Disk redundancy keeps a server running through a failed drive; it does not undo a deletion, ransomware or a lost account, so it is not a backup.
Growing in place: To grow, order a larger plan and copy your data across with rsync or zfs send; resizing a running server in place is not offered at launch.
Very large volumes: Bedrock, at 8 TB, is the largest storage VPS we sell. Past that size a dedicated storage server, a whole machine full of disks, is the better fit, and we say so plainly rather than stretch a VPS.
Instant setup: A person on the team creates your server once the payment is confirmed, so it is not instant; the dashboard tracks it until the IP address shows up.
A free trial: No free trial: the smallest plan, Silt (500 GB), costs $1.77 for one month, or $1.24 a month on the 12-month term.
Pick an amount and a coin (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC); the crypto amount is fixed at its rate for 30 minutes.
Pay the address on screen, on that exact network
The payment page gives our deposit address for the coin and network you chose: BTC on Bitcoin, USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20), USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20), ETH on Ethereum, SOL on Solana, LTC on Litecoin. Use only that coin on that network, since funds sent on another network or in another coin are lost. Your wallet adds the network fee on top.
Send the exact amount, then press “I’ve sent the payment”
Every top-up carries its own exact amount, to the last decimal: that amount is how your payment is found and tied to your account.
Credited after we check it on the blockchain
The balance is credited once the network has confirmed the transaction and we have checked it on the blockchain. Usual network confirmation times:

Get your storage VPS
Pick a plan, a rental length, a city, a system and your SSH key (or none, for a temporary root password), and the top-up is set to the price of that term. Once the payment is confirmed, a person creates your storage VPS and its IP address appears in your dashboard. Credit on your balance does not expire and renews any of your VPS. When a top-up is only made to reach the minimum, the unspent part comes back on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC. The rest of a balance is not paid out unless the law requires it.
Closed the page by mistake? The open top-up waits under Billing in your account, with its address and its exact amount.
Questions about storage VPS prices
Which plan has the best price per TB?
Clay, at $1.66 per TB a month on the 12-month term, followed by Shale at $1.67. Month to month the rates are $2.37 and $2.38 per TB. Larger plans cost a little more per TB because they also carry more vCPU and RAM.
Are there setup fees or a price change at renewal?
No setup fee: an order and each renewal cost exactly the price of the chosen term. A renewal repeats your term at the price you ordered at, unless you switch the next renewal to another length in the dashboard.
Do the prices include VAT?
Prices are in US dollars and are what you pay from your crypto balance; no VAT line is added at checkout. One comparison host, Hostbrr, publishes its prices excluding VAT, and the table above says so.
What if I end a 12-month term early?
You can delete a server at any time, but the days left on a term are not paid back. When we cannot deliver a server, or it fails and support cannot get it running, the lost days are credited back to your balance, which never expires. Top-ups are not paid out unless the law requires it; the part paid only to reach the minimum top-up can be returned on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC, as long as it is unspent. If you are unsure, start with one month and switch the next renewal to a longer term.
Why is there no plan above 8 TB?
Bedrock, at 8 TB, is the largest storage VPS we sell. Past that size a dedicated storage server, a whole machine full of disks, is the better fit, and we say so plainly rather than stretch a VPS.
